How long until my pieces are ready?

The firing process takes 2-3 weeks (no guarantee, we will do our best). We'll send a WhatsApp, email, and phone call when your piece is ready for pickup.

Yes. Delivery costs 50₪ in Jerusalem and 100₪ for the rest of Israel. We don't ship overseas.

Can I bring food or drinks?

Absolutely! We also have fresh brewed coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available for purchase. Cold filtered water is free.

Does the paint stain?

No. We use ceramic underglaze that won't stain your clothes. Aprons available for use. It's also non-toxic and food-safe once fired.

What ages is JClay best for?

Everyone. We've had painters from age 2 to 102. Come alone, with friends, on a date, or bring the whole family.

About us...

JClay Studio opened in 2017 as a creative escape in the heart of Jerusalem. Over the years, it's become a place where people come to step away from the noise, spend a few hours painting, and reconnect with something slower and more hands-on. We're conveniently located in central Jerusalem, but once you step inside, the city fades. It's bright, calm, and quiet—a space to create at your own pace and leave with something beautiful you made yourself.

Do I need to know how to paint?+

Not at all. Many people who come here have never painted pottery before. Our staff will show you the basics and help with techniques if you want.
