FAQs
What ages can come to JClay?
JClay is a unique experience for the whole family. Whether you're 2 or 82, you are guaranteed to have fun at our studio.
How long until my pieces are ready?
The whole process can take 10-14 days*, depending on how busy the studio gets. We will give you an estimate when you come to the store and call you when your piece is ready.
*if you are leaving the country or have other extenuating circumstances, we may be able to rush your pieces in 2-3 days. Just make sure to let us know!
Can I bring my own food/drinks?
Absolutely! We also have a water fountain with hot and cold water.
How much does it cost to paint at JClay?
At JClay, you only pay for the pieces you choose, which range from 50-350 NIS. Everything else (paint, glazing, etc.) is included in the price.
Do you deliver pieces when they are ready?
We offer delivery within Jerusalem for a 50 NIS fee. In certain circumstances we may be able to deliver to further distances (price varies depending on location).

Do you offer classes?
We have an open studio, with flexibility for our customers. However, our friendly staff is always available to help and give guidance.
If you’re interested in specific classes send us an email with the details of what you’re looking for and we’ll try to make it happen.
What if I don't finish painting in time?
If you need to pause, we will wrap up the piece for you to take home. When you're ready to continue, you can bring your piece back to our studio.
Note: There is a 20 shekel studio fee every time you come back to finish.
What kind of paint do you use?
We use a special ceramic paint, which does not stain clothes and leaves your pieces with a nice shiny finish. It is non-toxic and food safe.
How long does a painting session last?
We recommend you give yourself 2 hours to paint, but it really depends on the person. Some people only need an hour, while others are with us for a whole afternoon. *On busy days sessions are limited to 2 hours per booking*
